Okay so where did i leave you? Well Monday, i went in for my ultrasound and the chick there couldn’t find the implanon bar, anywhere in my arm, so i started to get worried. On the way home we stopped off at the doctors and i spoke to one of the nurses, she looked confused and said she had never heard of this. So the nurse made an appointment for the Wednesday as the doctor wasn’t in on Mondays.

I got how about 20 minutes later to the phone ringing, it was the nurse saying that the other doctor and the clinic spoke to her and that the bar mustn’t have gone into my arm? :/ so she looked through the sharps bin and found the needle with the implanon bar still inside it. I know, weird right.

She apologized about one hundred times in the phone call and said that they had moved my appointment forward to the following day. So Tuesday came around and I went to the doctors yet again, for the forth time in 3 weeks. They all apologized and put a new implanon bar in my arm, free of charge, making sure it was defenitley in.

So its healing now and i know its there, and i can feel it. the bruising is going down and i can use my arm again, its only when i press on it it is sore.


As for my bar course, i have completed it, as of last night and now am waiting for my certificates to get a job, i have a place picked out they said to come in when i receive my qualifications in the mail. I had fun, on the Wednesday night we made cocktails (that was the best part) then last night i had two tests.
